The Google & YouTube app is a powerful tool that helps Shopify merchants reach billions of shoppers, make smarter business decisions and ultimately boost ROI - right from the Shopify dashboard. But Shopify merchants had expressed they did not understand the full value of the app. To solve this problem, our team developed a three part video series shown at key decision points to help merchants gain a deeper understanding of the products available and ultimately, take action.
Our team developed a hero video for the app landing page to highlight the overall value prop of the integration – putting the user’s focus on the why, not the how. To help the video resonate with our audience, we featured merchant success snapshots and took an inclusive approach to the messaging – opting to use title cards as our VO. We extended the campaign to create two feature videos that live within the app at key decision points exploring two key product integrations; Performance Max and YouTube Shopping.
